Read the entire thing. We elect people to elect people to decide what the country should possibly do. Democracy.

Yes, I do believe that there should be just a sub-forum just for fandoms. I also do believe that people should ignore the fandom if they don't like it. We don't force the fandom down anyone's throats. In fact that's just an exaggeration/complete opposite of what's actually going on.

I do think it's fine to post your opinion in a thread like this, but you just started it at the wrong time. The MLP arguments were calm until this showed up.
