the thing is, it's not like it's super easy to ignore it. I know, yeah, scroll past it, what's the big deal... but i mean, it's always there. the MLP topic is practically stickied, and that number of pages- even for that split second you look at it, it's giant!

you said people speak out because they don't like the show, which is true, and that they need to not be so hasty in their retort, but every argument has its catalyst- there's never been a flame war where it was one sided, ohhh no. the only way it's going to stop is not that we need to stop hating, but it honestly has to be a mutual agreement.

There's a sufficient amount of slots for other threads to appear on the first page. It's not like having one thread that constantly hovers on the first page even matters.

Yes it is within the nature of an argument that there has to be at least 2 or more differing opinions for it to be an argument.  However one 'side' of this argument happens to just be a handful of stupid and intolerant people.

To consider anything else I would have to have someone try and change my mind or be presented with information that would cause me to change my mind. What is apparent though is that there's a distinct lack of both those requirements in the three responses you've written to me.

If you post your opinion on the internet, you do it because you want to hear other people's opinions. If you really feel entitled to post something and be invulnerable to criticism, post your opinions in a thread in off topic with a sufficiently detailed thread name (so people can search it) and then lock it.

Otherwise shut the forget up and address your criticism when you post a thread that people can openly respond to.
