Recommend a good horror game/mod to me.

I really enjoy games that have a creepy atmosphere and will just scare me with just suspense. Not jump scares. Jump scares ruin the fun in a horror game for me.

I like a game where just the atmosphere and the gameplay will give me goosebumps.

Alan Wake is an amazing game, theres no gore if that disturbs you, actually theres no disturbing content, its just very suspensful. I have it for xbox but I believe they now have it available on Steam. Its really fun.
Silent Hill Shattered Memories is a lot like Alan Wake, but a little more gory (this one is rated M, while Alan Wake is rated T). I personally prefer Alan Wake over Silent Hill.

I knew a lot about the game before I bought it. The authenticity was removed when you start near a city, with no weapons, and get killed by a zombie almost instantly because of where you spawned.
