Can anyone suggest me free alternatives to fraps that can record decently?

and when i say stuff mic, i mean good quality and stuffty record volume with no way to change it.

Record video and audio separately.

Also you should never even consider torrenting Fraps. Torrents are bad.

I wouldn't know, my sister was tired of camstudio crashing so she replaced it with BB recorder but she hasn't actually used it yet.

the low framerate is my computer's fault, and the slight noise is youtube (I mean the visual brand of noise)

BB flashback isn't free.

and nit fux, my framerate on the recording was exactly like that, it crashed constantly when i tried to fix it.

Xfire is good for recording gameplay and has a 10 minute limit for uploading, but not recording. Just upload it to Youtube if you want to publish it.

xfire i can't seem to get to work with video recording at all.

i press r + v (my video binding) and it doesn't do anything.
actually, no game seems to work with it.

Screen2Video is actually really decent in terms of freeware, from koyote. The fps caps out at 30 though, so don't expect super-smooth stuffe
