Pretty self explanitory.

Note: I AM NOT ASKING FOR BLOCKLAND TO WORK WITH CONSOLES!  I AM ASKING IF PS3 CONTROLLERS CAN WORK WITH BLOCKLAND!

Alright, so this is what I am thinking up for a default set up.

X - Jump
Square - Open Inventory
Triangle - Take out Paint
Circle - Crouch
L stick - Look
R stick - Walk
D pad - Select
R1 - Activate
L1 - Jet
R2 - Swap Seats (forwards)
L2 - Swap Seats (backwards)
L3 - Bring up Build menu
R3 - Take out build tool
Select - Player Menu
Start - Escape Menu
PS Button - Swap Player Views (1st to 3rd, 3rd to 1st)

You can use an external program like xpadder (for xbox controllers) and servercommandgui to binds all the keys you need.  Also a clent script to consolidate keybinds might be useful.

There's default support for XBox controllers, but it's terrible.

Theres some drives you can get that i use, but it's a pain in the ass to set up and you have to restart your computer every time you unplug the controller.

Also you could make circle crouch for your suggestion.

I don't have an XBox controller anyway.  Or an XBox.

Damn, everytime you dis-connect it?
And yeah, I knew I was missing something...
https://sites.google.com/site/carlkenner/glovepie/ - ive used this with the wiimote, should work with ps3

Looks cool.
Might give it a go.

DS3 tool has a function to emulate Xbox controllers.

I use xpadder to use a PS3 controller if I want to do that.

Mouse+keyboard is much better imo though.

So I could make Nitronic Rush think I am using a XBox controller, but really I would be using a PS3 SixAxis.  woot.

yep.

Glove is way overly complicated and doesn't work for me.  So...DS3 I guess

DS3 can be kinda annoying to get working sometimes.

Switch around the brown townogs. Left for walking and right for looking is what most games use.

I found something else called Motioninjoy.  I tried that, but it doesn't work.  HOWEVER, Super's laptop keeps annoying me to update itself.  I'll try it again tomorrow.  Then I will try XPadder and then if that doesn't work, DS3 I guess.
