Blocktopolis City RPG (Information Update 11/13/12)

You know back like two or three years ago I made a cityrp with the name "Blocktropolis" only difference being the "r" lol. Anyways, this looks interesting, with all the different kinds of shops and what. Not, the builds seem pretty decent but the layout could use some work. Would be a nice server but too bad your probably using some kind of broke-down junky cityrp mod you found somewhere:/

Guys, I have really bad news.

This past month, my computer obtained a "really bad, monster of a virus" --computer fixer guy.

This virus caused my entire computer to break down, all of the data could be lost.  This means that the Blocktopolis save could be gone.  My family had set up Idrive on my old computer last year, which saved data when it crashed exactly one year ago, but Idrive was never set up on the new computer.  I will most likely have to recreate this ENTIRELY, addons, saves, EVERYTHING.

There is a slight chance that I might be able to get the save from the computer, but the chances are slim.

I'm really pissed because I was almost done with this, and there is only about half a month left until school starts, Junior year to be exact, and I don't think I will have any time for Blockland.


Although, this restarting of the City could lead me to think of more economical ways of doing things, such as lessening brickcount.

No no, the house design is mine, if you remember, the color and furniture orientation were yours, although you just duped the furniture from the furniture dupe plate.

And it's only the design that I will be using, so I'll just get the house from the old city, the orange one, and use that.

Ok, so i was saying a few days ago that i might not be able to get this save back, but it looks like the chances of that are much greater now that i found it.

Also, according to the poll, i will be going with pre-made houses for people to use.  This can also reduce the amount of bricks that I used for the baseplates to the housing lots, because of the base, the marking plate to mark where their property ends, and other things.

I think this will reduce ~30 bricks.


In other news, if you have a house design you think is worthy of being put into this, then you may submit it.  The categories and descriptions are as shown.

Sizes
- 64x64
- 32x32

This is the size of the yard, not the house foundation.  Make it fit on these size lots, but not on the very edge.  Leave a 3-4 brick wide gap on each side.  Paths should be set one plate into the lot, so that the baseplate lot is like grass.  Max brick count is 1600, so try not to go above that.  Room height is 6 bricks high, so account for any plates you use for special design, the room size needs to be exactly 6 bricks high.  Some people use 2 sided walls for exterior design and interior design.  Please refrain from doing this as it can increase brick count.  naw, ill remake a new house design to implement this as well, just keep it below 1600.

In my new house design, i will try and make a basement.  Again, six bricks high, so if you have a baseplate, then flooring, then a ceiling design, that means you would need to create an empty space of 6 bricks and 2 plates, with spacers below and above the walls.  Floor thickness should be 1 brick, thats 1 plate for the ceiling, 1 plate for the flooring, and 1 plate for the actual floor.  There is a three story limit, two above ground, one below ground.

Please use Trueno's colorset, as that is the one i am using.  If i deam it worthy, ill take a look at it and if needed, add any features that are missing.  If i accept your houes design, you will receive a $5000 bonus at the beginning.  Post a pic of it here on this thread, and pm me the save with a picture as well.  I will then put any i receive up for a poll.

Good news guys, my computer is ready to be picked up from the shop.  They computer nerds are out tomorrow, so I'll have to pick it up on Monday.  I expect to resume progress on this starting with redoing real estate with a more complex system to prevent information leaks, although, I will most likely use the event restriction mod so that these leaks cannot be used to cheat.  I will also be offering rewards for any missing links that may exist, as there is with any new "mod", I believe the usual 500,000 Blockdollars* would suffice.

Might I aid in eventing, I've been needing a good challenge with VCE. Also, if I might ask a favor, I would like to make an economy via events if you don't mine, been wanting to do this for years.
