If you edit a post with in a certain amount of time, why doesn't it say you edited it?

So you can fix spelling mistakes you miss?

What would be the point in that? It may as well say you edited it.

i think that badspot thought something like "if people edit a post like 30 seconds later, no one will notice or care."

i said that wrong. what's the point if it does say it's edited? like yosher said you barely notice anything if you edit something within 30 seconds. some grammar and spelling mistakes fixed in that time wouldnt be noticed.
