What's disghusting is that YOU cannot accept and respect his rules. If you didn't like his rules, just leave the server. There are many people who believe in things that go against homoloveuality and you should not expect for everyone to have the same beliefs as you.
This is reasonable, I suppose. Yes, if you don't like what someone is doing then it's far better for you to leave or just ignore them. His beliefs are ignorant and uneducated, but it his server; it's not a country like the United States, it's a private server and you have no right to be there. So no matter how stupid his opinions are, they're all that matters. That's that.
You are being the starfish here by being intolerant and disrespectful of his rules. It's his server, and if he doesn't like gay people, that's perfectly fine. He isn't forcing you to be there. I'm sure there are people out there who don't want people such as actual criminals or religious extremists on their server, I guess that means they are bad people too because they have beliefs and/or standards that are different than yours.
No, this is what grinds my gears when I hear people (like you) pull out this Annoying Orange card from their ass. Being intolerant of intolerance does not make someone an starfish. It actually makes them a very good person. Don't give me this stuff about beliefs; just because you believe something doesn't make it right. And you're not right. Is it his server? Well, yes it is, but this topic isn't about whether or not it's his server. While he's technically allowed to be as much of a cunt as he wants because he owns said server, it doesn't justify his illogical and uneducated opinions. This topic is about him being homophobic. Nothing justifies behavior like this. There is no justification for intolerance in this case. There is no logical reason.

But the rest of the world knows you're wrong, so keep it to yourself. Don't try to defend people who are obviously bad human beings, and don't try to make off like you're actually right in believing what you believe. i just can't stand it when people try to use stupid excuses such as "homophobic" to insult people. there are people who hate christianity out there too, so let's call them "christianophobic". or maybe call people who burn qurans "islamophobic". it seems people are trying to make people look dumb by describing their dislikes in such a way that they sound like they are weak.
It's not a 'stupid' excuse, and it's a very viable reason to insult someone, because it is something to be ashamed of. Or are you against calling people out for what they are? Would your argument be different if his rules were genuinely tribal instead, and said that no black/asian/whatever people would be allowed to play there? I think even you can recognize discrimination based on race is idiotic and ignorant, so why is it different when it comes to discrimination based on loveuality? It's different because you don't like gay people for no good reason, right? If you were tribal you'd be saying the same thing were this a racially charged topic.
People who hate Christianity/Islam as a whole are just as ignorant as tribals or homophobics, and they should be judged accordingly for their actions and beliefs. You can dislike anything you want, but that doesn't mean you're justified in doing so. You can hate black people for being black but that doesn't make your opinion any less wrong or pathetic than it really is. You can try to justify irrational hate all you want but at the end of the day I think you know deep down just how wrong you are.
