For the record, I get stuffted on by people out of state just because of where I'm from and the type of family I'm in but I don't complain about what the others have to say now do I?
Well, hey, that's great for you, but entirely irrelevant. Your situation does not compare to someone else's. They could have it worse or better, but that changes nothing. People respond to and handle trauma and emotional stress differently, and you have no right to ridicule someone for getting upset over something that's logical enough. How do you know this boy hasn't already suffered discrimination at the hands of his family or his state, and so things like this set him off because it's something unjust he's had to live with? Most of the time it's more than just getting 'butthurt' about things.
We're proud that you're strong enough to be able to deal with what life dishes out to you, but not everyone can handle it like that. It doesn't make them weak or a bad person.
