What graphics card do you have, and which graphical settings are being used

High graphical settings, I tried all the others though.

I believe the crash after the first scene is a notorious problem in pirated copies. Of course I don't know if you did, so this could be some other problem.

I bought it since it was on sale and all.  Not pirated.

Is the 'first scene' a cinematic, and after it is the actual game where you move about and such?

I'm fine with the cat women part, but after you are done with her, the cinematic begins.  After it ends, the game crashes.

Oh god, this is going to a take a bit.

Alright, this is getting extremely frustrating.  I might have messed up with what ever that meant.  I got confused with the instructions half way through.  Still not working.

So do it right. Following instructions doesn't mean screwing up halfway through, quitting, then declaring it as not working.

did you try verifying the game cache?

pardon?

using Poker Night as an example

right click your game on Steam > properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache. It's the first thing I do if I'm experiencing crashes in my games, sometimes it fixes the problem, sometimes it doesnt
