Yup, this will be my first camp ever no not a boy scouts camp or a girl scouts camp. It's an unschooler's camp for people like me who normally don't go to school yet learn stuff on their own. The camp is located in Oregon at the Myrtlewood camp, fear not for I am not going alone me and my friend will both be attending this camp a long with other campers.

I'm super excited for this, seems pretty cool plus my cousins which I don't see very often live about 2 hours from there :D :D

Here are the only cons

Can't bring laptop/phone Confirmed: I can bring my phone
Small chance for bears
Maybe outhouses instead of bathrooms Bathrooms confirmed :D

So yeah, super excited and I'm wondering if any of you are homeschooled/unschooled and maybe have gone to this camp before?[/s] i'm back

Sorry that I can't relate to any of this but your camp sounds awesome!  I am however going to my first sleep away camp this year, and have not ever been to boy scouts camp yet.  Anyway have fun!  (I almost asked why you were going to camp in September because that is when school normally starts, but then I remembered that you are home schooled)

i'm homeschooled but i hate outdoors

I live in Oregon :3

no idea where that camp is though, but sounds fun!

I don't think it's a camp. it's probably just some place with houses.

12 days to go I'm gonna miss you turds.

no camping in spawnroom!

I hate camping, personally; outdoors, wild animals, eating wild stuff, pooping in bushes... its just all so gross to me. plus the bugs come out at night and annoy you so much and you get bit/stung to death by mosquitos, bees and wasps. camping is definitely not my idea of a good time x.x

its like minecraft hardcore edition, and nature itself is a griefer

Anyone want to play some games wiff me for a going away party?

I went to camp once, it was awful.
In my cabin we were going to bed at around 2:30am, and right before I went to bed, there was a wolf spider (tarantula sized) right above me. (I was top bunk)
I asked if anyone could throw me their shoe, and some asshat threw his Sneaker right at my face.

my first, and last, time camping the guy next to me was snoring like a loving train

we also had to collect all the firewood and set everything up while the instructors sat on their lazy asses

If anyone wants to read up about it the website is here: http://nbtsc.org/

Just please don't troll their site, they're good people.
