longbows get all the bitches

if you know what I mean ;3

I tried using a long bow once.
Couldn't shoot for stuff.

Compound all the way.

I have a compound hunting bow, but I prefer rifles.

Looks like someone took an arrow...
*suspense*
to the face.
Yes, thats right the face.  Not the knees, ass, balls.  Just the face.

Did he died?

It is the Year of the bow after-all.

Did he died?
There is a 95% of that happening.  There is, however a 2.5% chance that the arrow will spontanously changee direction and hit the knee.  and then there is a another 2.5% chance that Dad will catch the arrow and rape you with a giant ass snake.

Archery is fun. I don't necessarily remember how many bulls eyes I got, but I'm no professional at it.
If you get a bow, I hope you have a good time shooting haystacks.

Well considering that the actual OP asked whether or not to try archery I would definitely say yes.
I would recommend starting with a low strength compound bow, generally being the easiest to use and there are sights for beginners, if you find you like it and shoot often enough you will eventually be able to use more powerful sightless bows instead of a compound.

I'm sure if you look around you will be able to find a shooting range somewhere around where you live, if not there are always places like gardens, paddocks, orphanages etc to practice.
