Don't forget the standoffs. Don't forget the standoffs. DON'T FORGET THE MOTHERloving STANDOFFS.

Unless, of course, you want to fry your motherboard. Then forget the standoffs.

I can't remember whether I used standoffs but my motherboard has never fried.

Also remember that your CPU fan backplate has the foam side facing the motherboard and the metal side facing the case. This is pretty important.

Either you used them or your case is special and doesn't need them. If you didn't, you would have a hard time installing a card and having it line up right.

The case is a really good case, I don't understand why I would buy a case just for the window. Cable management is excellent, and its really nicely sized.

How much better is the 7000 series over the 6000?

How much better is the 7000 series over the 6000?

like one model over
so 7850 = 6950
7870 = 6970

as far as i know

Much. They usually have a core clock of 1k if you buy the 7770 and up. Plus a good amount of manufacturers have their cards run really cool. Usually around 20 degrees idle and up to 50 max active. That is if you have an adequate cooling system. With the case and gear I have, I doubt it would go over 40, and I got the XFX with double fan "double D ghost" something or other.

Nope. They have a 7950/70 so that would be the next gen up from the 6950/70
