Author Topic: Sid Meier's Civilization V - It's like Mini Empires Roleplay-but a game  (Read 1276 times)

Just wanted to share Sid Meier's Civilization V and have a nice place to discuss it. I think of it like Mini Empires Roleplay-but a game, and without roleplay. But, It's actually a lot better than that. It's very fun and makes you think and decide based on your play style what Empire to play. There's Singleplayer and Multiplayer, it is a big cash cow, in the base game you have 13 empires to play. The DLC add new map types, and new empires to play. The main DLC is the 'Gods and Kings' DLC which adds an intense religious system, aswell as many new empires to play as.

Also, we should hook up a multiplayer game. Get 4-8 people on Skype and play together. That'd be fun.

I think everyone knows what Civ 5 is :P

I have more than 13 empires with gods and kings :D

To anyone doubting Gods & Kings:  Don't.  Do not let the "DLC" tag fool you, this is a full expansion.

"I can't imagine playing Civ5 without it".

I always keep saying that I'm going to do multiplayer but I never end up doing it because I hate working on loose schedules like that :( sorry to everyone I said I'd do multiplayer with.

I get what you're saying, but it's pretty expensive for an expansion.

Yeah Gods and Kings was something that's really hard for me to go back and play normal civ with my cousin.

That's what I though until I asked Siba/Conservative if he has Civ 5 a while back. He had never heard of it. Or SimCity. He's weird.

Played 118 hours of it, great game.

alright let's get this stuff started

civ iv is better

civ iv is better
This
But Civ III it the best out of all of them.

ur all wrong civ 1 was the best

I hate the "memory leak" that this game has. The game becomes a slideshow for me after a while.

Just bought gods and kings. I might try and set up a multiplayer match

God and Kings is nice, but no mods in multiplayer really pisses me off. This is what i really hate about Civ 5.

I'm up for multiplayer
