Author Topic: The Death Penalty: The Number Two Most Controversial Topic in BL EVER  (Read 15790 times)

I'm moving to some desolate island off the coast of Estonia. I hate society.
You hate being proved wrong. You've probably had this whole idea that the insanity defense was something it isn't for the greater part of your entire life and the change is too much of a shock to you to change your ideology.

What you said about my family being killed is completely random aggressive behavior, yet I'm willing to forgive this unspeakably horrible insult if you actually reconsider your ideas on the insanity defense and apologize that you said you wanted my family to be murdered. Okay?

Yea, okay, I guess the whole kill your entire family thing is a little over the top. Sorry.

Bahahaha. Rookie broke again.

I doubt he'll reconsider.
I frankly wouldn't even find that insulting seeing as this s a hateful and degrading forum most of the time and taking these idiots seriously is like Self Delete in itself.

What about the whole refutation of the insanity defense because you thought it was just a get out of jail free card?

I proved that less than 1% of court cases use it, and 90% of the defendants had pre-diagnosed mental illness before they were charged with their crimes. There is no remaining evidence for you to base that conclusion on.

I still think that the current justice system is a little broken, but yea, I guess it'd be unfair to be completely unbiased towards insanity.

Off Topic: I like how Poleutrough lost his stuff, saying forget you and your forgetity logic i hope you die in a cancer fire (reference, anyone get it?) and Seventh forgave him. Also, he is a good debater.

On Topic: I don't really like the death penalty, unless they committed a mass rape serial killing spree, but if they say killed their family, I think they deserve life in prison, and the slow slow feel of slipping away into insanity, or literally bored to death. (And you guys do know rape doesn't really happen in prison often right? Thats just a stereotype. )

yeah, its kinda a christian thing to say, like pro life and stuff.

but uh, why have them sit in a chair, fall asleep, and die, than have them sit in a cold cell for the rest of their life, thinking about their victims, their familys, and everything else that they have done with their life.

why would you have either of those things?

why would you have either of those things?
the same reason why schools have rules and consequences

Yeah idk either, the prison system works well at separating criminals from regular society but I haven't really contemplated whether the punishment is really just. I'll have to think about that for awhile later.

The law system is really forgeted up.

I remember watching some show, where this man's wife, killed him in his sleep, and in court, she plead innocent because "he abused her"

Jury let her go. Completely discarding the fact that the woman just took life, and sent people into depression, but they let her go, because she was being "abused"
