The law system is really forgeted up.

I remember watching some show, where this man's wife, killed him in his sleep, and in court, she plead innocent because "he abused her"

Jury let her go. Completely discarding the fact that the woman just took life, and sent people into depression, but they let her go, because she was being "abused"

The operative term is, "Show".

This would never happen in an actual court of law, ever. At least not right now.

anyone sent to life in prison or the death penalty should be experimented upon because they're a waste of money and space. i think anyone who forgets up bad enough to serve more than 15 years in prison should have all rights taken away and be experimented upon.

I feel thedeath penelty should be executed by firing squad. And yes, I do accept the death penalty as a solution to problems. I know that liberal-as-forget california doesn't have a death penalty, but my business law teacher told us a story. She went onto a trial for a white supremasist's trial. His murder count was like 30 or some stuff like that. Execution style, no remorse for human life. He asked for death penalty, but CA doesn't have one. So now he sits in prison waiting for the death penatly to be enacted. When asked if he had any regret for the people he killed, he said that no. This is an example of why we need a death penalty. Crazy ass people like him.

But why? What would a death penalty accomplish for someone who wants to die? Your idea of punishment is revenge, so you're actually doing the white supremacist a favor by killing him.

Death penalties are stupid in my opinion. The fact you're taking someone's life which could be turned around using many different methods (I won't really list them) is just a waste. That human could very well go back to society once their mind is cured. Just flat out killing them does nothing good for us. Now, IF the murderer/criminal is in the process of harming others, then a fatal shot would obviously be okay.

I dunno I say no, but then again my logic might be wrong...anyone agree..?

the point is not that others should gain something, but rather that human beings should be of higher value than that

Death penalty is fine for the darker crimes such as murder, Flash Mob, rape etc. It also is cheaper than us( the tax payers) paying for their stay in a prison(which can add up rather quickly) just for them to get out, commit a crime, and get sent back in.

somewhere along the way people forgot what prison is really for. the small offences.

Okay to protect the public, yes. To rehabilitate...not so much anymore...I think if the prisons worked harder on rehabilitation methods, the world would be much better.
