Author Topic: Israel declaring "open war" on Iran.  (Read 4248 times)

ww3. I guarentee  it.

"I wonder how much the Americans will continue to support Israel when after they hear the Jewish State has bombed Iran and a week later they wake up to $9.00/gallon petrol at their pump station?"

Someone tell that uneducated person that we do not import a single drop from Iran. Secret cartels rise prices you make people in the states think that.

if we nuke the middle east we lose THE ONLY POSSIBLE POWER SOURCE EVER POSSIBLE TO USE NOW OR EVER, oil.
We could try a grow large amount of corn and other stuff to make fuel. There are many farms and ranches too, so methane is not in short supply.

turkey has been starting stuff over cyprus territory with greece, post cold war. and its all military interests.

and india.... are you kidding me? them and pakistan have been on the brink of nuclear war for 20 years now
I think Turkey is trying to get there pre-ww1 territory back. One day the Turkish Army will go across to take Arabia back with their Fezes and Turbans.

Either you are an idiot or I misread what you posted because the US imports oil from Iran

Correct me with appropriate sources if I'm wrong but I thought we had like a buttload of embargoes on Iran, including oil.

You know that the United States number one oil importer is Canada, right?

"a single drop"

The US imports around 20%-30% of it's oil from the Middle East, not to mention other amenities such as medication drugs. No doubt China would take a side and Russia would follow. Together, that's around 70% of our importation trade, which of course is what makes the supply of the items lower, without the demand lowering, effectively increasing the price of oil by 70%-80%, meaning a $3 gallon of gas would be $6-$7. If this all happens, not only will the price of oil raise, but so will toys, computers, Xbox 360s, and even bottled water. Even if this stays in Iran/Israel, the price of gas will still increase. Why? Because gas companies think that whenever a tragic event happens, they can charge more.

See 2005 spiking up? That's Katrina. 2011? Japanese earthquake. Even though we get a measly 3%-5% of our oil from Japan, they still raised their prices, because if everyone raises their prices, a new average is made. Sort of like how earbuds were 12 keys in TF2, but then people started asking 22 keys for them and the price shot up because everyone asks the same price, even when it's worth less.

The US has no embargo, unlike the EU which just started theirs 23 days ago. Also that 2008 climax was the economic collapse, I doubt oil would be effected by an event that occurred several years previous.

I like I said, from Iran. Not the entire Middle East(Iraq, Sabi Arbria, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Afghanistan, ect).

I didn't see it say the US doesn't buy Iranian oil

Quote
President Clinton issued Executive Order 12957 prohibiting U.S. trade in Iran's oil industry

I say the U.S. should support the Ottoman Empire.

The US imports around 20%-30% of it's oil from the Middle East

iran is not the only country in the middle east.
im pretty sure we get stuffloads of our oil from saudi arabia and kuwait.

Lets take Israel.

And toss it into the sun
