it could be coded into the engine if they wanted it to be in there, but since you can force it on any decent graphics card it's probably not worth the effort

I think you can't change environment when it's set to Day/night cycle, or I might be wrong.

Baddy didn't go into the Advanced options tab when on Day/Night, but he did click on a Day/Night preset, so I'm not sure about this either.  I really hope you can set day and night cycle to how you like
