Author Topic: Could I get a modeler to please fix the rotation on this model for me?  (Read 875 times)

I got sent a final model copy by zmaster, who modeled a phaser rifle for me from star trek TOS, but my scripter xalos says the rotation is 90 degrees off and so the gun is pointing straight up when held. could somebody with blender experience please fix this for me? i havent seen zmaster in like a month and ive still been waiting for this problem to get fixed. i will supply the model and everything else needed to whoever would be able to fix the problem.

You can change the rotation in script.

  rotation = eulerToMatrix("-135 0 90");

i would do that but i would not have a clue what i'd be doing, and i would rather not mess with it myself. i just made the sounds and coordinated the addon idea.

I could fix it for you.

Select the model and press Ctrl A, apply rotation.

the .dts is all i have :( its all zmaster gave me and hes long gone now

Just past the rotation code in the image datablock.

Err, pretty sure thats where it goes.

For further reference, Shaper could be another option for second thought editing for dts. However, I don't know how reliable it is for different cases.
