Author Topic: So my friend wants to PC game... (Read 3801 times)

...only because he saw that I had a gaming computer. Not sure I'm too happy about it. He loves his xbox, and was literally crying the other night when he wasn't allowed to get on it. And now that he saw my gaming PC he said he's going to sale his xbox and all of his games just to get a PC like mine so we can game together. What makes me really mad is the fact that he's begging his mom for a ~$1800 computer and he doesn't even know what a graphics card is or anything. What will he do if he needs to buy a new one or something? Another thing: he said he wants a gaming PC mainly for Minecraft. I'm just worried he's going to end up wasting his [parent's] money and then wanting his xbox back, when it's too late.

Do you guys think I'm overreacting? :u

build him a really good one but all the parts need to be almost dead so he'll have a bunch of problems and stuff

lol, me and my sister were thinking of ways to get him out of it. He's only 11, and he's very gullible. i told my sis that i could write on notepad something like "WARNING: YOU NOW HAVE A VIRUS" and he'd probably fall for it and not want a pc, thinking that they would get a virus easily. I asked him later that night if he knew what notepad was and he said no.

I have seen 2 of my friends want a new laptop after seeing my computer, and none of them even want to play with me, so I never gave a stuff about how much money they throw into a fireplace.

huh, never thought about that. Another thing, he says he wants to play games with me but I have games he probably wouldn't like (Dead Island, Blacklight: Retribution, etc etc.)

then again that was when i performed my first hardware transfer

he's going to throw his money away because the steam sales are over
plus minecraft isn't intensive so he can just get a consumer laptop lol

that, and he's really impatient. he's unaware that if you buy the games on steam, you have to download them. he thinks that they just appear there randomly and you're ready to play them
