What if Blockland Forums had an auto-updater, so if everytime a new post was made, it would automatically update without you having to refresh the forums page you are on.

i'm sorry but i think this would be really annoying. trying to browse a board and it keeps refreshing right as your about to click on a topic

There would most likely be an option to turn it off/on like YouTube comments.

Unless you lower the update frequency to every minute or two, scripts like these basically spam servers with queries and are generally frowned upon.
