and 2 months ago i was conspiring to buy a lesser brand 3d printer to "create" legos at home lol

infinte legos would be pretty awesome

3D printing is cool stuff.

Although, I can see how it's gonna hurt a lot of businesses if used by the wrong people.

i didnt think that was possible. i couldnt imagine the cost of material though

I've heard that 3D printers generally use a plastic that has similar consistency to that of lego bricks-- so uh, if you plan to make lego, you're in luck. :3

yeah i was generally planning to get that kind. the simple small ones that can do wax or plastic items no bigger then a 6x6x6 space

The Lego material in question is called ABS plastic, and most printers that build ground up use it. I suggest the makerbot brand, if you don't mind working with your hands

heh, when i read the topic i thought somebody made a gun out the parts of a printer

wtf is a 3d printer? id think its just like a regular printer capable of printing paper and stuff with pictures that look 3D
