how expensive will it be? judging by the pledge rewards, it would be about $100
if that's the case, it seems worth it to me

OnLive is horrible, you pay the game but then if your account isn't active the games are deleted.

pretty much this.

it'd probably be a lot better in the long run to build a good computer, and buy the games through steam or something
you wont have to be connected to the internet to play most games, you'll have a wider selection, and imo it just feels better than onlive

Oh jeez that controller is going to show the dead skin about as much as my last mouse did.

onlive is a total pile of stuff. if your connection isn't holly buttforget fast you can't play most games.

Somebody's mad that their internet is bad.

I think this is a scam for a few reasons.

First of all, they provide a console for anyone donating 95$ or more. I calculated it and it turns out they are spending literally 44% or more of their funding in manufacturing costs promising consoles to people before there is even a working prototype or production facilities.

On top of that, the fact that they haven't thought this through and set up facilities and recruited staff to assemble and ship these consoles makes me even more suspicious.

I think this is a huge scam or a legitimate business that will never be able to ship the initially purchased consoles they promised through Kickstarter in any less than 3 years.

I wish I was a rich-cracker to get this

My connection is fine, i'm able to play some games. The problem is that some bigger games maps end up buffering, which doesn't pause the game and will usually get you killed.

It's done well and is a decent concept.
The issue is that the concept is nearly impossible, as much as they try.
