Quake LiveI have been noticing how Quake Live appear to be dying and I would rather that not happen, cause like, Quakes good and stuff. What the hell is Quake?Quake (If you have been living under a rock) is an Arena game. Here is a small list of Arena games and hopefully you will have played at least one of them so I don't have to explain what an arena game is:*Unreal Tournament*Quake*OpenArena*Nexuiz*Xonitic*Warsow*Alien ArenaQuake Live is Quake 3 Arena just in your browser and cleaned up quite a bit, it is free to play besides a few features that are not completely needed. (Maps, Making a clan, Premium servers)It will run on most computers (Except toasters (You know who you are))
What QLPrism doesAt its core, QLPrism is a customized, minimalistic "browser" for id software's web-based first person shooter Quake Live. It essentially turns the Quake Live website into an application that is directly launched from the user's desktop rather than indirectly from a traditional web browser. This application combines the Quake Live website, a modified version of Mozilla Lab's Prism and several custom scripts written by members of the Quake Live community to enable users to quickly and effortlessly experience Quake Live with many additional useful features. QLPrism is currently available for Windows and Linux.
Do you need a graphics card to play this?
You should have no problems playing with the graphics turned down. (I play on low even though my rig can handle it no problem simply because I like the lower graphics without all of those fancy shaders)
did they fix the coding error that the devs made where it won't play on the FASTEST BROWSER?
Quake Live is for poor cunts that can't afford a game, get Quake 3 ye bums.
ChexGuy331and I think master servers for Q3A are still up, least they were last I checked.
