No, Under no reason do Admins ever need to be such richards. They need to be a bit strict, but they don't need to ban over a name they don't like. A Kick would be Ok. 1. I didn't know that abusing the /setname command was considered setting a funny name. I thought it was spamming or something. That is literally the whole point I'm arguing here. Read the loving thread or I'm not going to respond to you anymore, this is ridiculous.

2. Oh okay, I remember now. I visited like 3 servers before I found one that I could build at, so I couldn't remember exactly what I said. It was a different mini empire server that responded to me, not zombies in the bluzone.

I still don't consider that bashing, your server name is Zombies In The Bluzone and I didn't realize it was serious roleplay until I read your welcome message which said it was. I guess you could consider what I said an insult but I didn't say it as an insult.

it's a serious roleplay. they need to be strict on names. that's why the server is popular for the niche that enjoy serious rp.

I'm also gonna have to say they hardly even do their jobs. They dont care about "Poopedy poop Poop" But they care about the little stuff they happen to notice. Actually moderate and do your job.

You have no loving idea how stressful and involved it is to be an admin for this server. It's not like other servers where we can babysit each player.

Moderating the server, making sure people are roleplaying well, changing it to day/night, doing the occasional event, helping new players, helping players who are stuck or whatever, investigating RDMing incidents, etc.

Not to mention still trying to find time to roleplay.

It's a job.

That sort of does have a point but you arent understanding you dont need to kick them out forever for something when you can tell them not to or be banned for a day or something (after the warning of kicking).

I'm not denying that my name was inappropriate, or that I didn't put my name as Anita Hanjaab as a joke. I read your welcome message saying that abuse of the /setname command would be a permanent ban and I believed that abusing the command was spam. I didn't think I was going to be permanently banned.

I wasn't:

• Trying to troll your server or ruin the roleplaying
• Deliberately trying to get permanently banned

I was

• Trying to join and see the build
• Setting a funny name as a joke.

Boltster's right but it still doesn't mean you should permanently ban a person. If you banned me for a day, I would still be pissed considering I didn't know that abuse was setting a funny name. However, it would be a reasonable punishment for people who are deliberately abusing the command.

There's no reason why joking around with your name means you're an unsuitable player forever.
