Bastion is an adventure game with some Beat 'Em Up elements. In the game you plays a kid only known as The Kid in a world where everything has fallen apart. You're trying to restore the world to the way it used to be. The game has other characters but it's best not to spoil. IN the game you can have two different weapons equipped at once. One controlled with right click. The other with left. The combat is challenging and fun. The game has many different levels with different enemies. All weapons are upgradable. The music is nice and the story pulls your heartstrings. Now go buy it.

This is one of those games that you can't judge just by looking at.

Obviously there are going to be people that don't like it but chances are if you actually play and get into it you'll enjoy yourself.

The gameplay might not be revolutionary, but Bastion is well-known for its music and story. If you're not someone who cares about those things, then this game is probably not for you and your boredom is justified, but you're really missing out on the gaming experience if you think like that.

both me AND my younger brother love this game to death
we've beaten it and everything and i still occasionally come back to it and play it more
the soundtrack is great the the weapons selection is diverse, go from a bone-smg and a massive hammer to a ninja sword with a flamethrower
the narrator's quirks also give it a great amount of comedic relief
10/10 would play again

Borderlands and Bastion are two completely different styles of games and cannot be compared like that.

i bought this a while ago (because a wanted a regulith cookie) but never played it
tomorrow i shall play it and hopefully enjoy it, ive been needing more sp games (i assume its not multiplayer)
