Support is the Genius Bar, if you have a problem they will repair either there or then, overnight or replace the machine outright for no charge. Compare that to MSI, you'd probably have to send it off to China or something for 2 weeks. -you'd be surprised, probably china, but still, replace the machine outright for no charge is something that MSI might easily do.

I know enough to have built my own Windows desktop utilising hybrid crossfire to enable quad monitor output on a budget, decided Windows wasn't for me for my work and swapped to Mac where I've had a very pleasant experience. -try ubuntu and all the different desktop environments it has if you still have that hybrid crossfire machine Please, chill out and realise I might actually have a well found opinion on the matter, there's really no reason to call me a friend.

The fact is though, there's an Apple store in my town and they will sort any problem I have on the day I have the problem. Sending stuff away for weeks for problems is a pain, I love that I don't have to do that with Apple and in my eyes is worth the premium alone.

Tried Ubuntu, hate it. Mac is the only OS for me.

Well, I minds well post this in this topic.

Anyone know a GOOD board that will support 2 CPUs? I will be rendering a lot.

Build one. Prebuilt ones are always stuff unless you bought them overpriced. You can generally buy the same spec cheaper in parts.

You shouldn't get an alienware, You also don't need to build it yourself. Check out a few places that build pc's based on parts you pick, The price wouldn't be bad.
eh, I'm fine with my alienware, pricy but epic

Yeah buy an Apple computer, my Macbook Pro handles Blockland and Minecraft no problem. The idea that they don't handle games is outdated and naive.

Lub

I lub you for that

Plus, as long as you have semi-decent internet, cloud gaming is always an option

okay lets move on and assume he's not buying an apple pc as he's using it to game

Gosh the $700 is worth it, just look how loving ugly it is!

lol mac users. its all about how trendy things are.

i bet if apple made shoes, you would buy it just for the logo. and because some guy will answer questions about it at the apple store for a lifetime because that is how much a warranty you paid for.

i agree with tails. a person dosnt need to build his own to save money.
the industry has plenty available "custom prebuilt" net stores now.
i have a computer dumb friend who lies to everyone that he builds his own, when we all know he lacks the know how lol. but it dosnt matter. its still a custom gaming comp.

they have so little premium, on top of free shipping, that you really arent paying extra compared to shopping for parts anyways.

yes i triple post. suck it

lol the difference between pc and mac (the real difference)

are the users. pc users have the means, means to figure it out, or already the advanced computer knowledge to recognize and solve ANY issue themselves.

mac users have determined up front that they know little about computers, and dont intend to ever know.

yes mac users have great support at the apple store. but that is nothing to brag about as it diminishes your character and respectability as a modern user of technology.

typical apple user.

Nice generalisations, really shows off your intelligence. Ironic really since you're preaching about Mac users having a lack of intelligence. I can fix problems with my own computer, I do it most times, but the one time my Mac failed to boot, I'm glad the Apple store was there to replace it for me, didn't have to wait weeks for a hardware replacement.

the only problem is that most games are windows only  :panda:

i cant even imagine a single thing that can happen that would make me need to bring my computer anywhere for help.

mac users go on and on about their genius bar, but that only raises another question.
macs are supposed to be easy to use. without issues. yet those mac users are CONSTANTLY visiting the apple store for support lol
