Author Topic: (?) Should I get FL Studio (?)  (Read 2362 times)

I should essplane that I am only making this topic because I'm extremely stingy and I barely buy anything over 20 dollars.
Since the only WORTHWHILE version of FL Studio that I am willing to pay the amount for is $100 and I'm not letting my father pay for any of it since he's poor.
I have a couple of samples of what I've done so far on my soundcloud, but there's sooooo much that I haven't even started to understand. Then there's the matter of people not liking the complexity that I put into parts of my pieces. I don't know how many people like what I do with music. Take http://soundcloud.com/katadeus/the-tablescrap-advances for an example, the kick confused my sister and she thought that the claps were unnecessary and also confusing. I don't know if it's worthwhile if I can't produce something others like.

Yes. I use FL Studio for my remixes and it's very good.

That or Abelton Live. Never used Abelton though.

ableton > everything

Never heard of Ableton. Explain its superiority?

more plugin support

link up real controllers ans synthesizers up to ableton without using fl studio and it forcing you to never use anything real
(most of time)

Doesn't sound like anything that I would need.
Is the interface any different? How much does it cost?

What's your favorite color?

the interface is very difficult to learn

600 bucks bish

green

Daw, it's out of the question then. Not only am I a slow learner but I would never pay 600 dollars for something that I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of.
also coo, my favorite color is blue.

I got a free copy of Abelton with my Fender amp that I bought. Only the lite edition, but it's still amazing.

Oh and something that happened that I thought was odd. On my computer at my mother's house, I installed it and it let me minimize it, but it won't let me on this computer.

About $110. It also came with Amplitube Fender Edition if you care.
