Look, I may be over thinking it, but I just got really hurt after something that SailorMan said hit home.
In any case, a few days ago, I was looking around for a decent server, and since I couldn't find any, I was wondering when the WWII Dogfight would be up. Wondering about that, I found him on IRC, and attempted to contact him. He immediately blocked me, and I couldn't really understand why.
So, upon joining his server later today, I asked him about it.
I completely get that people asking about "when your server is gonna be up" is annoying as forget, I get that.
He could have just told me that, instead, but he decided to say that I never talk to him, except this one time when I decided to ask him about the server. He said that he doesn't like his "fans" following him.
It really takes some nerve to say that sorta thing.
I've always talked to him, enjoyed his company when I play on his server, and enjoy playing on it in general,
but I am no "Fan" of anyone
Sure, I like it, but Im not some goddamn fan who follows his every move, I just wanted to have some indication if the server was up, because frankly I've been bored as stuff lately.
The fact that he would assume Im a "fan" of him, is really arrogant of him, and It really hurt.
Treating me like stuff, telling me to "forget off" because I asked him about the server, doesn't mean I only care about the server, and it doesn't mean i'm some idiot who follows him around.
TL; DR: SailorMan was a real jerk over something that he arrogantly assumed had to do with me only caring about the server, and not him.
I really have nothing against him, I really don't. I like him, and his server, but treating me like that was just wrong.
