I got through the tunnel and went into the cracked wall but there was a dead end, is this intentional?

The game itself is brilliant, I love running down a corridor hearing "CANT WE JUST SETTLE THIS OVER A PINT?" as it adds the true feeling of being chased and pours fear into my soul
