Author Topic: Could we have a metal door without holes? I don't wanna see where I'm going  (Read 575 times)

Just a door that looks like it's made out of metal without a window or any other schtuff.
A thicker edge with bolts or somesuch would probably do it, don't you think?

One element of e.g. a dungeon is that you don't know what's behind each door.
Adding a window to a door degrades it to a simple obstacle.
Finding the key to whatever is behind the mysterious door becomes finding the key to the annoying obstacle.

Why cant you just paint a regular JVS door without a window silver?
(Not trying to be a troll.)
If its because of the sound, go down to the event that plays the sound, and change it to the metal door sound.

Wait..
What holes?
On the JVS model 'Metal Door', the door has a small barred window you can see through.

I could use this.

There is no JVS door without a window that doesn't look like it's made out of wood. This is the problem.

Added stuff to OP.

I might go and make it with Blender. I'm a real beginner, so this can be good practice. It might be good enough to release, might not. Only bad thing is that I cannot script.
