[]----[]'s mafia madness.

It keeps your body until the minigame resets yeah.

I don't know about the blood tho.

attempting to sound ~technical~ does not make you any more credible
more likely is that you have awful internet and/or an awful computer
this does not affect anyone else at all since no one else had any issues with it

I wasn't trying to sound technical, it was legit.

As for having a bad computer, (I won't tech it up for you this time) I have a brand new, top of the line model.  We have streaming fast Internet and Wifi in every room of the house.  I am the last to ever experience lag on servers.

I do know what I am talkihng about.

I have seen this mod ingame, on a murder-mystery server.  I checked the levels of lag at the beginning of the game using ctrl, the compared it to the readings at the end, when there were but a few left alive.  There were significantly higher levels of latency towards the end than there were at thee beginning, despite the decrease in people.  This led me to understand that there was indeed lag caused by this mod, not large enough to cause a LAG indicator to turn on, but enough to be counted so.
Except you're wrong because the only lag additional player models and particles could possibly cause is FPS lag, and your measuring latency, which is network lag.
I can't say what is causing the increase in latency, but I can guarantee you it is not a few extra shapes, because the server doesn't care about them other than "hey a shape spawned, let's tell everyone that its there" which is a one-time usage of hardly any bandwidth.

If you've seen O:I then you know that Mafia Madness is not what I'm looking for and it doesn't have blood.
Nonetheless it's a good gamemode.

Gen you have bad Internet,
I was on the same server and never lagged one bit

actually the method i used for uxie's murder mystery was really loving laggy simply because all the blood stains and whatnot were just items that you couldn't pick up. sort of a necessity, seeing as the point was to keep them there until the minigame ended: i couldn't do that with, say, debris, because they would fade way too early (10 seconds at most)

individually or in quick bursts that's OK, but when 33 people have died and there's 2 dudes left and there's 33 people worth of blood plus the bots made to look like their corpses still lingering around then there might be issues

considered just having it flat spawn a regular static dts rather than an item?

Bushi made that for my murder mystery, lol. It's pretty cool once you change some stuff to reduce lag. All the blood resets after each round.

the bots for corpses i don't really know what you could do about, since bots just lag as part of their nature, but
i'm pretty sure you can change the time of the body removal, but i'm not really sure how

i considered it

(BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT LOL)

plus they wouldn't be affected by gravity, so there's that. can't have floating blood stains on flying backstabs

GUYS.

if a blockhead model was left on the ground and replaced the player's model itself, it would only lag if the player's model caused lag.

which player models DO NOT LAG.

illiterate bastards.

It will lag if theres like 100 corpses laying on the ground along with the rest of the players counted.

you can't just inject models wherever you want, they have to be a staticshape or an item or something

we were just talking about that, what're you on about

Can you even change the nodes if you use a static shape?
