Good thing this is mildly related to the topic at hand!

Why isn't squeedy as actIve anymore?

All I see is people posting "squids" because they don't know what the plural of "octopus" is.
Octopuses is correct according to my browser's built-in spell-check.

So are you suffering from Alzheimer's or what

That first fact is horrible. You're talking about tentacles as if you're measuring mass as oppposed to numbers.

Squids have eight arms and two tentacles with which they can kill you. Because of this, they are also known as to have ten arms. I'm not sure what defines a tentacle as opposed to an arm, but you understand what I'm saying.

So in Sweden we call both squids and octopuses "inkfish". I'm sure some English-speakers do it as well. Somewhere.
I haven't seen the word "inkfish" on this forum. All I see is people posting "squids" because they don't know what the plural of "octopus" is.
OK I'll change it.

So because I mentioned something in a post, the thread suddenly changes subject! Makes sense!

10/10 good retort
The whole idea of a topic is to talk about different subjects. The current subject was the plural form of octopus and I posted my thoughts along with the other people you're doing a good job at ignoring.

no it isn't. the point of a topic is to talk about the topic at hand. that's why it's called a topic. that's why forums have different sections and boards. if everything was everywhere - just because someone mentioned it - then we would resort to chaos and anarchy.

The current subject was the plural form of octopus
no it wasn't. it was mentioned in my post. the following was an annoying deviation. kind of like the "I got x numbers of posts" and after five "gz" people just post their own post count, which usually is a deviation from the subject, as opposed to the actual subject.
