I don't know what kind of sticky keyboard you're using, but you in fact have to hold down C in order to walk.

I don't really see the point. Most games which have a walk control have it keybound to a button held for as long as you press it for, and so there's no real reason why it needs to be any different.

Just because other games don't have it that doesn't mean it isn't needed.
I would find it very useful because driving slowly would be much easier.
