Cubikon soldiers have silly armor

it's a corporation with standard uniforms, of course it will look silly. It's effective, though.

They're inside the damaged drop pods, WP won't really do anything to 10-inch thick galvanized steel with large amounts of non-flammable padding.

Cubikon helicopters move in, starting to evacuate injured soldiers.

Your argument is invalid because my blackhawks never stopped moving until they hovered over the building and they already dropped off the soldiers so they started moving again.

Back at home base, development on a bolter-like assault rifle begins.

EDIT: The soldiers begin running away from the beacons to cover, taking pot shots at the soldiers as they leave.  The soldiers are quickly replaced by an Mi-24 helicopter, the doors slide open and .50 calibre machine guns open fire.

Suddenly, anti air guns quickly gun down the helicopters, causing them to explode mid air, sending shrapnel downward as well as large, still-intact bits and pieces.

I don't know, but your soldiers easily could. Either way it's super innaccurate and you can't count for gravity that quickly.
Also your logic is flawed. If it wasn't moving, then it just stopped working, didn't spin out of control and all that bullstuff
