Attention all Blocklanders I have something to say about the whole My Little Pony deal.
Now I am not going to say how good it is, nor say how bad it is. Just needed to get something out there.
MLP (My Little Pony) was first started in 1992 (the show), it was originally meant for the age group for about 5-10 year old girls. This show ran for many years then took a break from the extreme media, and mainly focused on the toys. After a couple of years the show came back with My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. This show was at first focused towards the younger generation, but later adapted to a show which families could watch together. The show taught good life lessons for kids, but also (even though it wasn't meant too at first) to adults. After the producers and media started to realize that a vast majority of people out side of the original age group started watching it, they started to adapt the show. The show is still 'focused' towards the make-believe world with ponies. But it also focuses on great life lessons for kids, teenagers, and adults alike.

Now many people are getting fed up with this new 'fad' saying its "immature, stupid, meant for kids" and not taking a look at the other side of it. I for one am not into this show at all. But do respect others opinions on it, and I am supportive of others who may watch it. Many people here immediately turn it down, not even considering the show.

As many of you have seen there has been hate spewed back and fourth by both MLP fans and non fans. An example is here by infamous Hookhands' topic

Although I did link that topic, I do not mean to throw hate at hook hands, he has done himself in plenty so far.

The main reason for this thread is to say that it is okay if you like the show, or if you don't like the show. But don't hate others for their opinion / decision on it, it is there choice and they do not need to be hated for what show they are watching.

I do not mean to start a flamewar with this thread, if you have a different opinion on what I just said, I understand, but please do not exclaim it to others if there is no reason too. Thank you for reading.

other than that, all I can see happening in this thread is more drama, which seems to go against the point of the thread, which also begs the question; why is this in Drama? - you can't even lock it here!

They cannot break away from ponies to even play online games, their only other hobby. And even then they'll figure it's appropriate to never stop talking about ponies in chat, even though the rest of the team is too busy to type obscenities back because THEY'RE EATING A WAVE OF ROCKETS WHILE TRYING TO DEFEND THE POINT.

They'll act like the most self-entitled petulent children, should anyone try to moderate them, or make the reasonable request along the likes of "hey, this thread is for talking about cooking, and a preschool cartoon is a little off-topic." No, they'll summon a tsunami of aspergian bronies to flood the boards. As it goes, they cannot figure out why ANYONE else could not like their stupid obsession. To them, it's inconceivable, that there are grown adults that don't give a stuff about ponies. Unfathomable. Who could possibly dislike the exhibition of ponies? "Trolls", that's who.

What i hate it that atleast 60% of them are all in they're own little worlds in which everyone else is wrong and that our opinions dont matter.

except a lot of them don't even rub it in your face but you just have to rub your hate in THEIR faces instead.
