Author Topic: Shader's not working!  (Read 9143 times)

Because Intel are stuff at making graphics cards, everybody knows that, now go buy ATIs and Nvidias that can at the least run Tribes: Ascend so your computer isn't completely stuff.
No, it's just the integrated cards without shader support supplied with computers.

k

Dual boot with Windows 7 for now because Mac OS X doesn't support a certain OpenGL extension.

Also, the Mac Mini's Radeon 6630M is discrete, NOT integrated.

I still dont get why shaders dont work for me! I dont have an intel graphics card.

Why, intel, why?

My dad says it isn't intel's fault, and that it is Blocklands. And also to give Blockland time to fix it up.

OK, Jakob has a brand new Mac Mini with the 256Mb AMD Radeon HD 6630M discrete graphics card, he's running lion, not mountain lion.
Does anybody have a new mac mini that is running Lion or Mountain lion? And if so, are the shaders working for you?
Anybody know what the missing OpenGL extension is? And if it was added to Mountain Lion?

Someone's gotta be using a mac mini out there...

Thanks, Daddy O'Daddy (Jakob's Dad)

Are they going to fix this so people with intel graphics cards will see shadows too?

Mac Mini
Processor: 2.5 Ghz Intel Core i5
These two things are more than enough for shaders to not work.

I dont get how it wont let shaders work?

Shaders dont work on Mac Minis and anything to do with Intel? Intel makes a stuffload of computer stuff, and I think some people had shaders even with intel.

Hey, Jakob's dad, if you really are.

Yes, I use a Mac Mini with Mountain lion and I have the same graphics card as your son. Even more coincidental, I don't have shaders working for me either.

Wow, his dad actually cares about his video games.

Can I come live with you?
