i'm a little surprised the topic isn't flooded with complaints - i've only gotten... 2 in the thread and one via pm

i'm wondering if their problems aren't limited to them

Since v7 the events have just completely stopped working for me.

can you guys download the latest version and do $DayCycles::Debug = 1; and post a console.log with an average daycycle? Please leave trace() disabled- the debug messages will be enough and i don't need to see your mouse flowing around everywhere >.>

I need to pinpoint exactly where the problem is and get this new system pushed out.

That is exactly what im using this for.

Edit: ... Its still not working at all for me. I downloaded the latest version but it still does nothing. Do i have to have a specific length of day/night cycle for it to work?

Edit2: oh and the input events that come up are dayCycleonDusk and so on. Not just onDusk. nvm

Edit3: So I tried it out again and it worked using a 1x1 brick. I then loaded up one of my saves and it didn't work.  I tried re-eventing the bricks that i had it on before and it still didn't work.  Rather odd.

Edit4: So went back in and did the same thing on a music brick and it worked.  I tried lights again but used a 1x1 brick and that worked as well. The bricks that i was originally using were 1x2 plates, which were not responding to the dusk/dawn commands. Rather weird. I guess ill just use a brick that controls all of the lights instead of eventing all of the lights themselves. This is still an awesome mod though and should have and still should be default.

On my dedicated server try it, because for me it is delayed, and I have no clue why it doesn't work. At first I got it to work, but then it just forgets up.. help me!

put $DayCycles::Debug = 1; in console

Oh and just as a side note. Midnight seems to be closer to the sun coming up then Dawn does. Let me test that again just to be sure though.

Ok this is really confusing. So I set a day/night cycle going and planted a 1x1 brick, did the events, and it worked. I then added a 1x2 plate, named it "asdf" and evented the 1x1 to do the same thing but for NamedBrick "asdf"; that worked as well.  I then reversed the roles and took the 1x1 brick events and put them on the 1x2 and then named the 1x1 "fdsa" to test it the other way; that worked as well.  After that, I took off the Self events and named the first 1x1 and 1x2 plate "asdf", and named the other two "fdsa". That worked as well. I then deleted all of the bricks and planted just a 1x2. I evented that the same way as the first two but with just Self events.

i have no idea what's wrong with you and/or your copy of blockland

maybe its universal

i still haven't gotten around to checking yet :/
