In case you didn't know, electromagnetism doesn't work like electricity does, you do not simply repel an electromagnetic pulse with another pulse of the same gender.  Second, you never repelled it with another "Positive or negative charge" you repelled with with an antennae set to a certain frequency, how you obtained said frequency I don't know, because you didn't even manufacture the bomb.  How would you have known?   Honestly, you're seventeen, you should know this.  Added to that, Gravitanium doesn't even exist, so I don't even know why HerpaDerp allowed it.

Well making it gatling would be pointless, since the point of a gatling gun would be to fire projectiles in rapid succession.  A laser would be a constant stream of high energy.  Making it "gatling" would be unnecessarily complicated and...

Why would a laser gatling gun be even remotely efficient or even necessary.  Fire a single beam for 1-2 seconds and lo and behold, the enemy is dead.
