I do not see how Olvaia would even have the necessity to pull off this kind of attack against nations that are 10 times larger than them.  Their standing military, at most, would be 140,000.

Another reason why mechs would be extremely unlikely in Olvaian miliary.

1)  They have no alliances that would supply them with the supplies.
2)  Having this small of a population makes it hard to believe that you would have a highly-qualified development team develop designs this quickly.
3)  Having this small of a population makes it hard to believe that you would have a highly-qualified workforce to build them quickly.
4)  Having this small of a population makes it hard to believe that in a relatively-sizable piece of land, you would have suffiecient large urban centers that would be able to supply a workforce.
5)  Having this small of a population makes it hard to believe that you would be able to gather so many materials to build them on the tiny piece of land that you are settled on.  And don't even assume that it's mineral-rich.
6)  Having a tiny army would not allow you to attack multiple targets larger than you and NOT be instantly obliterated.

The forward recon squads are met with heavy resistance from machine guns and NGET mechs.  They manage to down a squad and fragment the other squads, but can't seem to take down the rest.

The forward recon teams start to attack advancing New Manhattan troops, resulting in heated combat that depletes a squad and a few more. The exoskeleton suits with recon stabilizers and KORD 12.7mm HMGs manage to kill some light mechanicals, though.

New Manhattan continues to resist Legion's valiant defence, the lost NGET's being replaced by new ones, their forces seem to never end.  Hovercraft begin landing MBT's and APV combat variants (The APV combat variant is the normal APV but with a BTR cannon on top instead of the mounted OWMG).
