That would only make the image 2d.  With the new S&S update, the shadows would not cast correctly on the emitters.

that's not how emitters work and that would probably look horrible anyway

i think they mean motion blur with the camera, not the player.

Completely possible with the way the engine is right now.

However, no idea how we install custom shaders.

If this was implemented it would work but it would be ridiculously unstable, It would cause more lag than make the game look better, and maybe even cause another spawn of intel not being able to run [INSERT BL FEATURE HERE]
