Author Topic: Furries Thread (Warning, contains Aphtonites)  (Read 19181 times)

i wouldn't mind a thread like this if it didn't consist fully of stupid arguments
it wont eventually

It would, but that's not the topic here.

My point is that if you can apply that same logic to bronies, and yet they have a 9000+ page thread, I don't see why furries can't be allowed to have a thread to keep discussions regarding the subject in.

i was thinking this too

So then. Why don't we stop fighting because fighting about this is pointless and makes us look like 5 year olds over a crayon?

I don't even know, it was a miracle that the thread got past page 5000 without being put into the fail bin.

no it wasn't

If this didn't exist then expect the forum to spew furry everywhere. Same goes for the pony topic.

But there still is this crap everywhere... on both sides.
The topic does nothing but organize it.

so does mlp

Trust me, I hate them more.  Purely because they a specific subject, and not just "We like things with fur".

They're like cancer, furries are like a cold-sore.  "Damn, they're back again.  How annoying."

when people think furries, they think of animal research (generalised, of course)
when people think of bronies, they think of men wearing shirts with cutie marks watching a tv show (generalised, of course)
when people think of furries, they think of furcons with fursuits (generalised but may be true)
when people think of ponycon, they think of men wearing shirts with cutie marks who enjoy watching a tv show (generalised but may be true)

people have higher tolerance of bronies because they don't give a stuff what others think
furries on the other hand wear suits and draw up fursonas
EDIT: forgot to mention but it higher tolerance to bronies because they don't hide themselves behind stuff
just my theory
please place in your two cents to further make sense

If it organizes it, thats good. Think about what your doing before you post.

don 't worry about the start arguments
soon people will get bored of arguing and will let you have your topic, took more than 1000 pages for us

I only have a nickel, sorry.

stuff stuffty stuff. forget bullstuff stuff
All I saw in this post.

Why does it never occur to people to simply not click a thread about something that doesn't interest them?

I think it's funny that the internet can be so incredibly tolerant with stuff and yet some people still lose their minds when they see something furry or from mlp.
Oh look an innocent cartoon animal, HOW HORRIFYINGLY DEVIANT

this stuff gives me high blood pressure.
And who's the one who always sees a need to click a thread involving something they don't like? Lol

Furries and bronies (and every other fandom in existence ever) does the same stuff, the only difference being what the core interest is (cartoon animals, a specific show, etc)

furries on the other hand wear suits and draw up fursonas
not necessarily
plus, ponies do the same things (see: OCs and some also wear fursuits. or whatever they call them. regardless, they're fursuits)
