Author Topic: List of Non-Working Shader Cards  (Read 1502 times)

We should create a list of Graphic Cards that can't run the new Shaders & Shadows update. Post a card that won't work.

Cards that won't work:

90% of Macs.
Integrated Intel Cards
ATI Radeon Xpress 200
ATI Radeon 3200
NVIDIA GeForce 320m

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

Both of those work.

AMD Radeon HD 6570:
Can run shaders at maximum, very minimal to no lag.
nope, i have that graphics card and i get no lag on medium.

That must be your connection or your computer. I can run it on High with a little bit of lag only if it is a really big game.

Prices seem pretty good for AMD Radeon HD 6570. I might get that one :P

ATI Radeon HD 5670 works pretty well on full settings

two AMD 6870s running in crossfire work well.

CPU is an i5 2500k clocked at default.

I'm able to run all settings on max.

AMD Radeon 6870 gets 60 FPS running 70k bricks and x8 anti-aliasing.

What would this run Shaders at?

That is a 6870.

NVidia GeForce GTS 250 works for me

That is a 6870.
So..Im sorry im bad with this stuff. lol.

i dont think it works like "it works on one but it doesn't work on this one but the next one above it's good".

to compile a list of all working cards would be stupid. its better to compile a list of minimum requirements for super low, medium, and max settings

Or to make a list of cards that don't work. I'm sure there's far more that do than that don't

Woo now whole topic is changed.

Will a ATI HD 6320G be able to run them at least on low with ~50 fps you think? No, I don't own this; Looking to buy a laptop with it.
