Do you guys hate hats or the amount of hats in the game?

I hate the hat to weapon/map ratio

selling strange shotgun named the kurt cobainer, add jummkopf to discuss

You and an exclusive group called "everyone"

edit: except freeze apparently but he's a member of the Unpopular Opinion Club
do people really not like hats getting added even when it's along side other stuff? i thought people were okay with it so long as there is other stuff along side it (unlike the boogaloo which i didn't like either). do you guys actually hate hats getting added or just the fact that other things aren't getting added?

agree with this but i'm assuming we're gonna get some weapons and/or maps within the next couple of months so i was okay with the more recent one being less hat/weapon based and just having really good fixes. wouldn't be surprised if we got a big content update in two weeks or so, and if not halloween will probably be good (if lecture valley hasn't come out by then i'd say it comes out at halloween what with tentacle bread n such).

People hate that it's just hats

Hats don't make the game more interesting

For most people at least

I was under the impression that Overmind just hates having added hats in general, even when it's next to other things.
I never said I enjoy just hats, I said so long as it's next to other content I'm fine with it since there's almost no negative.

Do you guys not count the giant list of fixes content? Maybe that's where we differ and if so fair enough I guess. :P

Am i in the unpopular opinion club because i don't care how many hats the game has?

Weapons can be difficult because they have to be balanced and old weapons may need adjustments to be balanced when against the new weapons or something and people would only complain that they're OP/UP/TCP/ABC, maps would be nice, maybe some CTF and KOTH maps and possibly some Team Control maps since that's such an ignored variation of Control Points (even though many say it's a bad variant)

Apparently my assumption was incorrect, but in my defense all I hear after every update is people complaining about the new hats and how we've had bug X since 1943, rarely any praise

I start to like hat updates and then I realize I'll never get those hats anyways so then I don't like it

The server didn't have a name for some reason
It had rtd so it isn't a Valve server

Did it have Pinion or something similar?

Did it have Pinion or something similar?
It had adverts that played after you join a team

Then I believe you may have stumbled upon an example of the most recent growing problem in TF2, in which people set up servers with no name and give them advertisements, fill them with fake players (bots with fake pings, player names, avatars, and loadouts) and make them joinable via quickplay

I've been to a few of those servers

Why do people gotta do things like that?

If you type status into the console, they all have Steam IDs
