That isn't what I mean.  The topic will get activity eventually and it wouldn't require a post that just says "bump".  Bumping the topic without adding anything really to say to the topic is practically spam.

This, most people are at school/work right now so the forums get a lot less active and then pick up after school is out.

why do they keep releasing junk that doesnt do anything until the next patch? ok so i have an acorn and gourds crate, they can't be opened so it's just -2 backpack slots for the time being

They always do this so people get time to trade/prepare for the items to release. It also gives the devs time to pick the items that will go in them.

If someone uploaded a god awful addon, like a puke green cylinder for a hat, and it (somehow) got enough support to be unevitably added, would valve reject it?
