Oh hey, I'm making mods for TF2 now.

apparently buds are no longer being used as formal currency, 1 bud is only 120 ref now

going to be buying buds for 5-6 keys

Ironically two of my 3 strange cosmetics are both bird ones
I have a Strange Birdman of Aberdeen and a strange Ein.

When you put it that way, buds sound totally normal.  The key price is the reason why buds aren't currency.
