Also, some promos are pretty coo', like the ones mentioned in the topic title for example

Promos are really cool, it's just nice to have new stuff that isn't just cosmetics sometimes.
This normally happens though, we can't expect new content every couple of months with Valve making most of the team focus on Dota 2 till it's release, as well as they only released the christmas update a couple months ago. Steam-Pipe update is soon, so maybe some content with that?

I never said i didn't like the promos.
There are lots of promos which really are awesome. :D

Not to mention: Hats!

I never said i didn't like the promos.

And i never said anything about you not liking the promos? I think there was a misunderstanding somewhere

Valve: "We don't want to add styles to pre-existing items because that changes something people paid for with real money"
Valve: "We don't want to remove hats from set bonuses because that changes something people paid for with real money"
Valve: "We're removing the ability to have colored decals on Objectors, Flair!s, etc."

SPUF

MAKING JELLY LOOK LIKE A DUMBASS SINCE 1986

Valve: "We don't want to add styles to pre-existing items because that changes something people paid for with real money"
Valve: "We don't want to remove hats from set bonuses because that changes something people paid for with real money"
This is fine, but i don't understand the pre-existing items part, what difference does it make? You would still have the item and it would be updated to have styles, there would be no difference at all aside from having more customization for older items

gettin kinda tired of all these promos

the joke is you can circumvent the no-colors on Objector anyway
