If you already had a Vintage Procedure mask, that means the Mann-Conomy update was already out, and getting a Vintage Kabuto from crafting would be impossible.

Lololol 69!

OT: Barakuda is breaking the laws of TF2

The only hats I found were the Vintage Procedure Mask and a Bald engi. Then I crafted a hat and got the bald scout. I combined the two and got a Vintage Kabuto :D

They weren't vintage when I got them, but they are now?

I remember when I thought vintage vintage merryweather was a typo
and then I looked at the name of the original hat

what's so special about vintage

so its as i expected. they're useless.

so its as i expected. they're useless.
it's the same as expensive clothes

what's so special about vintage
think of them like jeans with holes in them
they're old and worn but cost so much more

all my hat drops:

first hat - respectless rubber glove
second hat - larrikan robin
third hat - noh mercy
fourth hat - cremators conscience (2 weeks ago)

still have all except the rubber glove :)

Vintages mark the point where the crafting materials required to make items were reduced, as well as the inability to have bought them from the store and thus only available via hard-earned drops and crafting, marking them as items that potentially required more resources to create than they do now

While headgear's 3 refined recipe didn't diminish, it required 3 weapons instead of 2 to craft a scrap metal, equaling 81 items to create one hat back then while it only costs 54 now
