This neat little class idea is making me think:

Another TF2 character idea.
Part British Aviator, part Flash Gordon.
Has a personal transporter that, at the cost of considerable health, 'ports him to another team-mate's position.
Interestingly, a lot of 10th class designs can be/have been functionally put into the game with the power of unlocks.
For example:
Brawler/Melee class >> Demoknight
Officer >> Soldier with a banner and the Disciplinary Action
Shotgunner >> Combat Engy, to an extent
Now, a lot of people, me included, want some Shotgun Heavy unlocks
What if we gave him the Shocktrooper's teleporter as a minigun replacement, which means he would have "
a personal transporter that, at the cost of considerable health, 'ports him to another team-mate's position.", a Shotgun, (or consumable) and a melee.
This gives the Heavy both a way to quickly enter and exit combat, and with the cost of health and a cooldown, prevents the Heavy from becoming a literal Fat Scout. Teleporting only to a teammate prevents constant telefrags and teleporting right to the enemy's base, in addition to encouraging teamwork.
This would allow the Heavy to quickly support a push, a group of teammates, or simply a single teammate.
And uh
yeah.
