Working on remaking a favorite part of a video in SFM, so far so good, i have the bit before this scene done, i just need to work on this part next

I turned down the camera's tonemap scale, played with overriding the fog distances and there's a subtle light above the camera to give it that sort of gradient coming from the top middle, i think it looks neat

played here for about 2 hours or something, lots of people came and left. archmage was there the entire time(same for cypence), he left towards the end and came back. probably to reset his score, he was accusing everyone of hacking, me included. most of my deaths were from me playing other classes and when all of red went engi and made sentries :(

Okay, the videos in the media folder aren't canon in any way, they're just instructions on how to play the game modes, nor does it state a year in any way, the MCMLIX thing has nothing to do with anything

Mann vs Machine actually takes place some years AFTER what is technically the current year, if you're not playing MvM, you're in the 'technically' current year, if you play MvM, you're in the current year as according to the game's backstory

As the mercs fight ('technical present'), Gray Mann kills his brothers and creates a robot army to destroy and take over Mann Co, Saxton Hale hears about this while out in the field wrestling wild animals on camera, he then tells the mercs as he fights the wild animal about beinh re-hired to fight money spewing robots without pay

Then begins the MvM trailer at some later point where Gray has constructed an army of robots and the mercs are preparing for the oncoming carrier full of robots

Thus being the current year as according to the backstory of Mann vs Machine rather than 'one day during the present year, robots showed up and started attacking!'

What do you mean by technical present? Do you mean 2013?
